Description

  • Develop system architecture, preliminary designs, and cost estimates from concept through execution handoff.
  • Articulate and support technical approaches while evaluating design integration and tradeoffs.
  • Prepare complete, accurate, and timely proposal packages across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Build well-supported cost estimates and incorporate market inputs into pricing assumptions.
  • Communicate project risks proactively and support pricing and execution decisions.
  • Lead customer meetings, site walks, and solution presentations as the technical subject matter expert.
  • Translate technical concepts into clear, structured communications for customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Controls, Commissioning, and Project Management to ensure technical feasibility and execution alignment.
  • Contribute to peer design reviews to improve solution quality and share technical perspective.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, or Energy Engineering.
  • 7+ years of experience in sales engineering, applications engineering, FEED, or cost estimating within electrical power systems or related industries.
  • Experience in distributed energy, solar, batteries, fuel cells, microgrids, or related technologies preferred.
  • Familiarity with electrical power systems, three-phase inverters, protection relays, and grid integration physics.
  • Strong understanding of standard electrical drawings, including wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and one-lines.
  • Ownership mentality with a proactive approach to identifying risks and advocating for needed resources.
  • Ability to travel nationally დაახლოებით 25%.
  • Experience working with execution-ready solution development and technical proposal processes is preferred.

  • Eligible for a 25% annual bonus.
  • Base salary range of $127,500 to $150,000 per year.
