Description

  • Own and evolve a tool-agnostic analytics layer that supports business decisions.
  • Design and maintain scalable, well-modeled datasets using dbt, Snowflake, and a semantic layer.
  • Transform raw data into trusted, high-quality metrics used across Product, GTM, Finance, and Operations.
  • Partner with analysts, product teams, and business leaders to define metrics and enable self-service analytics.
  • Deliver insights that influence decision-making and product development.
  • Implement testing, monitoring, and validation frameworks to improve data accuracy and reliability.
  • Standardize metric definitions across the organization to strengthen data consistency and trust.
  • Develop data products and AI-powered analytics systems, including AI-driven support ticket classification.
  • Contribute to building an AI agent that can act as a Data Analyst and answer business questions.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or a related role.
  • Experience operating at large scale or leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Deep proficiency with dbt, including large-scale transformation layers and reusable models.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses.
  • Experience designing and operating scalable semantic layers for consistent metric definitions.
  • Background in modular data architecture patterns such as Kimball or OBT.
  • Experience building data quality frameworks, testing strategies, and monitoring for analytics datasets.
  • Experience building data products or internal tools in partnership with product and business teams.
  • Expert-level understanding of software design principles and multi-tenant platform architectures.
  • Proven track record leading high-impact analytics initiatives from concept through delivery.
  • Use of Claude Code as a core part of the workflow is strongly preferred.
  • Strong opinions on how AI can improve analytics workflows, data modeling, and decision-making are preferred.
