Description

  • Recruit, train, and develop the store team and management team.
  • Coach team members on brand, product, service, and leadership practices.
  • Drive daily sales goals and execute business plans to meet short- and long-term targets.
  • Build a unique, inclusive customer experience through customer service and community engagement.
  • Educate customers and staff on brand values and company positions on ethical sourcing and related initiatives.
  • Oversee budgets, inventory management, ordering, and waste control within allocated limits.
  • Create and execute merchandising plans and maintain a clean, well-presented store environment.
  • Schedule staff to meet peak demand while managing breaks, attendance, payroll accuracy, and labor budget.
  • Monitor performance issues, create action plans, and support staff engagement and development.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, workplace standards, health and safety protocols, and DEIB practices.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience managing in a retail environment.
  • Strong HR skills in hiring, scheduling, training, conflict resolution, and performance management.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Strong customer service, supervisory, and sales skills.
  • Knowledge and interest in skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including holidays, evenings, and weekends.
  • Experience with consultation-based customer service models is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Suite, with ability to adapt to other systems as needed.
  • Experience in cross-cultural collaboration and DEIB or social justice training is preferred.
  • Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages is preferred.
