Description

  • Research, pitch, and prioritize tax topics aligned with LumiQ’s learning roadmap.
  • Scope podcast episodes to balance technical depth, clarity, and audience relevance.
  • Identify, contact, and coordinate subject-matter experts for episodes.
  • Prepare interview materials and foundational tax research.
  • Host interviews with senior accounting and finance professionals.
  • Guide episode conversations to be educational, engaging, and practical.
  • Review raw audio and make content-level edits for polished final episodes.
  • Write episode descriptions, quiz questions, glossary terms, and visual aids.
  • Manage multiple podcast projects, stakeholders, schedules, and project-tracking activities.
  • Experiment with new processes and provide feedback in a fast-evolving environment.

Requirements

  • Recognized accounting designation, such as CPA or CA.
  • 3–5 years of U.S. tax experience, ideally in public accounting.
  • Experience with C corporations, flow-through entities, and/or individual, estate, trust, or gift tax.
  • Ability to explain tax concepts clearly and research unfamiliar topics quickly.
  • Ability to synthesize subject-matter expert input into accurate, engaging learning content.
  • Strong judgment in selecting tax topics and determining how to present them.
  • Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders and balancing competing priorities.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent podcast projects.
  • Ability to ensure technical content is accurate, digestible, and engaging.
  • Eligible to work remotely from NY, FL, SC, IL, MT, CO, or Canada.

  • Base salary of USD $85,000–$92,000, depending on location, skills, and experience.
