Description

  • Edit 12–16 short-form educational videos per month for Instagram Reels and TikTok from creator footage.
  • Add captions, lower thirds, callouts, on-screen text, and supporting B-roll to strengthen educational content.
  • Cut 8–15 paid ad variations per month for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube for testing and conversion.
  • Create multiple variants of each ad concept with different hooks, CTAs, and openers for creative testing.
  • Iterate quickly on winning ads by recutting hooks, swapping B-roll, and refreshing creative when performance declines.
  • Edit UGC submissions from customers and paid creators into polished but authentic short-form content.
  • Stitch multi-clip UGC into cohesive narratives while staying within compliance boundaries.
  • Use AI editing tools strategically to speed production without compromising accuracy or compliance.
  • Apply brand standards consistently across fonts, colors, logo placement, end cards, and disclosures.
  • Implement compliance reviewer feedback across multiple rounds and maintain organized project files and asset archives.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience editing short-form vertical video for social, with a portfolio of current work required.
  • Demonstrated experience editing paid social ads for Meta, TikTok, or YouTube, not just organic content.
  • Strong fluency in at least one editing tool: Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut Pro.
  • Working knowledge of AI editing tools such as Descript, AI captioning tools like CapCut/Submagic/Opus Clip, and AI audio cleanup tools like Adobe Enhance or Auphonic.
  • Comfort editing UGC footage from multiple sources while preserving authenticity.
  • Strong captioning skills, including accurate, well-timed, well-styled captions that are readable on mute.
  • Good sense for short-form pacing, hooks, retention, and editing rhythm.
  • Willingness to learn FDA marketing compliance basics as they apply to compounded medications and paid health advertising.
  • Direct experience editing paid DTC ads in healthcare, wellness, supplements, telehealth, or other regulated performance-driven categories (preferred).
  • Familiarity with the visual differences between educational, UGC, and ad content (preferred).
  • Experience producing ad variant trees for systematic creative testing (preferred).
  • Experience maintaining visual consistency with a brand kit across many cuts (preferred).
  • Motion graphics skills for clean text animations, lower thirds, and callout treatments (preferred).
  • Comfort with audio cleanup, including noise reduction, leveling, and music ducking (preferred).
  • Experience using AI tools responsibly in regulated contexts (preferred).
  • Working knowledge of Meta, TikTok, and YouTube ad creative specs and health/wellness ad policies (preferred).
  • Color grading skills beyond basic correction (bonus).
  • Spanish or Tagalog fluency for planned bilingual content workflows (bonus).
  • Experience with AI dubbing or translation tools such as ElevenLabs, HeyGen, or Rask (bonus).
  • Experience editing for accounts with 100K+ followers or six-figure monthly ad spend (bonus).
  • Professional-level English communication and availability to work U.S. business hours.
  • Full-time engagement as a W-2 employee.
  • Fully remote role, with U.S.-based candidates preferred and openness to Canada or Latin America for the right person.
