Description

  • Lead the end-to-end architecture, design, and delivery of data engineering and SAP integration solutions.
  • Own architectural decisions on client engagements and align solutions with business and technical objectives.
  • Design scalable, secure, high-performing data architectures using Databricks, AWS, Azure, and related technologies.
  • Architect SAP data integrations for ECC and/or S/4HANA using SAP tables, data structures, and business-process knowledge.
  • Define integration strategies and best practices using SAP Datasphere, BW, HANA, or Business Data Cloud.
  • Oversee ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehousing, data modeling, and real-time processing solutions.
  • Establish standards for data quality, security, governance, CI/CD, and performance optimization.
  • Lead client discovery sessions, architecture workshops, and solution-design discussions.
  • Partner with Engagement Managers and Delivery Leads on scope, estimates, and implementation strategies.
  • Mentor engineering teams, assess technical risks and tradeoffs, and recommend solutions to complex challenges.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or related disciplines, including leading complex technical solutions.
  • Extensive hands-on experience designing and implementing scalable data engineering solutions with Databricks.
  • Deep knowledge of SAP ERP data architecture for ECC and/or S/4HANA, including tables, data relationships, and business processes.
  • Experience with at least one SAP data integration technology: SAP Datasphere, SAP BW, SAP HANA, or SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC).
  • Experience designing SAP-to-cloud data integration solutions and enterprise data architectures.
  • Advanced knowledge of data warehousing, lakehouse architecture, data modeling, ETL/ELT, and AWS and/or Azure.
  • Knowledge of data security, governance, CI/CD, and performance optimization.
  • Ability to independently lead technical engagements, guide engineering teams, and make architectural decisions.
  • Strong client-facing communication skills; consulting or professional services experience preferred.
