Description

  • Deliver a unified curriculum for both children with support from online teachers for core subjects.
  • Engage the 4-year-old in age-appropriate developmental activities during the older child’s online classes.
  • Assist the 7-year-old with homework, reinforce learning, and explain challenging concepts.
  • Maintain a structured learning environment with attention to posture, writing technique, and study habits.
  • Provide nanny support and general childcare outside of lesson times.
  • Work collaboratively with a second governess to ensure consistent educational approaches and daily routines.
  • Prepare and organize educational materials before lessons.
  • Communicate with the family and household team about the children’s academic and personal development.
  • Accompany the family on international travel and maintain educational continuity and routines during trips.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism at all times.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or a related field; advanced degrees or teaching certifications are an advantage.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a nanny, governess, or private tutor.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent travel.
  • Cultural sensitivity and respect for the family’s values and lifestyle.
  • First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain it.
