Description

  • Translate SAP business requirements across Supply Chain, Order-to-Cash, or Finance into scalable data models.
  • Design, validate, and review conceptual, logical, and physical data models aligned with enterprise standards.
  • Review SAP source-to-target mappings, data structures, business rules, and data contracts.
  • Use Databricks services to support data integration, transformation, governance, reporting, and analytics.
  • Ensure compliance with data modeling, quality, metadata, lineage, and governance requirements.
  • Collaborate with product managers, data engineers, data stewards, SAP teams, and architects throughout delivery.
  • Participate in design reviews, architecture consultations, peer reviews, and CAB documentation.
  • Identify data inconsistencies and modeling gaps, recommend improvements, and advise engineering teams on best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 4–6 years of relevant experience in data modeling, SAP data, or a similar role.
  • Strong SAP expertise in Supply Chain, Order-to-Cash, or Finance.
  • Understanding of SAP modules, business processes, master data, transactional data, and cross-functional relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling, source-to-target mapping, and canonical data models.
  • Hands-on Databricks experience, including SQL, lakehouse architecture, and analytical data processing.
  • Understanding of data governance, quality, metadata, lineage, harmonization, and enterprise data standards.
  • Knowledge of BI, reporting, and analytics requirements.
  • Experience with data profiling, cleansing, harmonization, and quality assessment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
