Description

  • Manage day-to-day relationships with carriers in Germany & Austria (DPD, UPS and General Overnight) to ensure agreed service levels are met.
  • Monitor internal and external delivery performance reporting and proactively resolve live delivery issues in collaboration with Customer Delight and Warehouse teams.
  • Manage shipping configuration in internal backend systems to ensure correct delivery options are shown to customers and orders flow smoothly.
  • Analyse delivery performance data, cost trends and customer feedback (e.g. NPS) to identify optimisation opportunities.
  • Lead and support improvement initiatives (including testing new carriers) and develop data-driven recommendations and business cases.
  • Work cross-functionally with Commercial, Product, BI, Customer Delight and Warehouse teams to develop and implement shipping and carrier strategies.
  • Plan, project-manage and execute peak season operations (Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day), coordinating internal stakeholders and carriers for peak readiness.
  • Maintain strong carrier relationships and ownership for delivery performance and operational efficiency across the German and Austrian markets.

Requirements

  • 2-3+ years of experience in logistics, delivery operations, carrier management, or a similar role.
  • Experience in a fast-paced e-commerce or operational environment is a strong plus.
  • Fluent German (written and spoken) is required.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken).
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data to produce recommendations and business cases.
  • Structured, proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and comfort managing multiple stakeholders across teams.
  • Availability to work 25-40 hours per week (part-time option) and able to cover a 12-month fixed-term contract beginning June (parental leave cover).
  • Comfortable with testing and adopting new technology; experience with G Suite is a plus.
  • Ability to work remotely within Germany or from the Amsterdam office near the European warehouse.
