Description

  • Develop and maintain application features under the guidance of senior developers.
  • Assist with software requirements, design, testing, and maintenance tasks.
  • Use modern programming tools, version control, and secure coding practices.
  • Support debugging, documentation, and sprint activities.
  • Work within DevSecOps pipelines and government-compliant development workflows.
  • Troubleshoot issues and support system integration tasks.
  • Collaborate with senior developers, forensic specialists, and crypto SMEs on mission-critical features and tools.
  • Help integrate new features and improvements used by investigators and analysts.

Requirements

  • Software development experience working under general supervision with knowledge of commonly used concepts and practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with software engineering fundamentals, secure coding, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Exposure to applications supporting sensitive data or investigative workflows is beneficial.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Must meet eligibility requirements for a Secret clearance.
  • DHS Entry on Duty (EOD) suitability is required to begin support.
  • Must successfully obtain a Secret clearance after EOD approval.
  • Security+ or an equivalent baseline certification (preferred).
  • AWS or Azure professional certifications (preferred).
  • Agile/Scrum certifications (preferred).
  • Experience with containers, microservices, or distributed systems (preferred).
  • Ability to thrive in fast-moving, agile environments (preferred).
  • Active DHS EOD suitability (preferred).
  • Active DHS Secret or above clearance (preferred).
