Description

  • Architect, design, and develop secure enterprise applications supporting investigative workflows.
  • Implement audit logging, privileged-access controls, and other federal security requirements.
  • Ensure software maintainability, reliability, and compliance with secure-development standards.
  • Lead development activities and provide technical guidance to junior team members.
  • Diagnose complex issues and optimize system performance.
  • Contribute to documentation, design reviews, and code-quality standards.
  • Support cloud deployments and DevSecOps pipelines.
  • Collaborate with investigators, analysts, forensic experts, tool developers, and cyber specialists to translate mission needs into software solutions.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of enterprise software development experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Proficiency in modern programming languages and secure-coding methodologies.
  • Experience with government environments requiring audit compliance, CJIS standards, or privileged access controls.
  • Familiarity with AWS/Azure cloud services and FedRAMP-aligned platforms.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Must meet eligibility requirements for a Secret clearance.
  • DHS Entry on Duty (EOD) suitability is required before starting support, and candidates must successfully obtain a Secret clearance after EOD approval.
  • Security+ or an equivalent baseline certification is preferred.
  • AWS or Azure professional certifications are preferred.
  • Agile/Scrum certifications are preferred.
  • Experience with containers, microservices, or distributed systems is preferred.
  • Experience thriving in fast-moving, agile environments is preferred.
  • Active DHS EOD suitability is preferred.
  • Active DHS Secret or above clearance is preferred.
