Description

  • Design, build, and maintain Azure infrastructure using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
  • Architect and implement automated CI/CD deployment pipelines with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms.
  • Develop and enforce Azure governance, security, and compliance standards.
  • Lead complex cloud infrastructure projects focused on automation, monitoring, resilience, and cost optimization.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to evaluate requirements and design enterprise-aligned solutions.
  • Troubleshoot advanced Azure issues involving networking, identity, compute, storage, and AKS.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level cloud engineers on infrastructure as code and cloud modernization.
  • Maintain documentation for architectures, deployments, reusable patterns, and operational processes.
  • Evaluate Azure platform advancements and recommend practices that improve reliability, performance, and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on cloud infrastructure design and management experience, primarily with Microsoft Azure.
  • Active Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship required.
  • Advanced experience with Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, or similar infrastructure-as-code tools.
  • Strong proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and automated deployment workflows.
  • Deep knowledge of Azure networking, security, compute, storage, containers, and AKS.
  • Expertise in PowerShell or Python scripting.
  • Experience with Azure AD, RBAC, policies, governance frameworks, and security baselines.
  • Strong troubleshooting, distributed-systems analysis, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Azure certifications such as AZ-305, AZ-104, or AZ-400; platform engineering, reusable infrastructure modules, cloud cost optimization, and Agile experience preferred.
