Description

  • Develop, model, simulate, and validate radar signal processing algorithms, including matched filters, detection, and parameter estimation.
  • Analyze I/Q and intermediate radar data in both time and frequency domains.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize radar signal processing workflows such as pulse compression, FFT, coherent integration, and clutter or interference mitigation.
  • Implement software tools for radar control, data acquisition, processing, and visualization.
  • Prototype analysis workflows in Python and produce clear diagnostics and plots.
  • Support operational deployment, calibration, and validation of radar systems, including timing, range, Doppler, amplitude, and phase.
  • Work across the full radar lifecycle from concept and development through deployment and operational support.
  • Collaborate across hardware and software domains to bridge theory with real-world radar application.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in radar systems, signal processing, or a closely related domain.
  • Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis, algorithm development, and visualization.
  • Working knowledge of radar signal processing fundamentals, including filtering and range/Doppler measurements.
  • Experience with phased array systems, RF fundamentals, and angle of arrival concepts.
  • End-to-end understanding of radar transmit/receive chains, signal processing, and detection theory.
  • Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize complex radar algorithms.
  • Experience modeling phased array and beamforming systems and diagnosing RF issues such as IQ imbalance, clock drift, nonlinearity, and interference (preferred).
  • Exposure to multiple radar architectures, waveforms, and design tradeoffs (preferred).
  • Experience with software deployment, DevOps, and real-time production systems (preferred).
  • Linux-based radar system operation experience (preferred).
  • High-performance computing experience, including GPU optimization; FPGA experience optional (preferred).
