Description

  • Advise corporate clients on New Zealand immigration laws, policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Manage end-to-end visa applications, including Accredited Employer Work Visas, residence pathways, and specialist work visas.
  • Liaise with Immigration New Zealand and other regulatory bodies on behalf of clients.
  • Conduct compliance audits and support clients in maintaining employer accreditation.
  • Assist corporate clients during inspections, information requests, and escalations.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted advisor.
  • Stay current with changes in immigration law and policy.

Requirements

  • Qualified lawyer with a current New Zealand practising certificate, or eligibility to obtain one.
  • 3+ years of experience in immigration law, preferably with a corporate client focus.
  • Strong knowledge of New Zealand work visa frameworks and employer accreditation processes.
  • Excellent communication and client management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commercial awareness and a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Additional language skills are an advantage.
  • Experience working with corporate clients on immigration matters is preferred.
