Description

  • Draft and review commercial contracts, including supply agreements, manufacturing agreements, e-commerce documents, IT and software contracts, IP and licensing agreements, contractor agreements, and referral agreements.
  • Draft and review privacy policies and internal privacy manuals.
  • Advise clients on GDPR compliance, including data subject access requests, data breaches, controller/processor arrangements, and AI implications.
  • Advise clients on UK consumer laws.
  • Support SME and corporate clients across a varied range of commercial, privacy and general corporate work.
  • Manage workflows and matters efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Communicate directly with clients and provide a strong client service experience.
  • Contribute to LegalVision’s growth and work collaboratively with the team.
  • Handle work for clients operating across sectors such as SaaS/IT, healthcare, e-commerce, construction and recruitment.

Requirements

  • 3+ PQE as an English qualified lawyer.
  • Demonstrated local experience assisting commercial clients with commercial and privacy matters.
  • Experience in general corporate work is highly valued.
  • Strong understanding of UK data protection legislation, including the UK GDPR.
  • Strong knowledge of UK consumer laws.
  • Experience managing workflows and matters in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and directly with clients.
  • Brilliant attention to detail.
  • Commercial awareness and business acumen.
  • Ability to grasp new concepts quickly and adapt to change.
  • Remote work arrangements, including from London, may be considered for the right candidate.
