Description

  • Own and evolve foundational platform microservices end to end, including authentication, storage, notifications, email delivery, and ERP/CRM integrations.
  • Drive architecture, reliability, scalability, resilience, and long-term maintainability for core services.
  • Author architecture decision records and define service boundaries and API standards.
  • Design, document, version, and maintain REST APIs consumed by internal teams and AI agents.
  • Own non-functional requirements such as performance, observability, security, and availability.
  • Build tool interfaces and schemas for AI agents using OpenAPI, MCP server definitions, and function schemas.
  • Extend microservices to support deterministic, reliable tool-calling and workflow automation.
  • Support deployment, monitoring, CI/CD, and on-call operations for the services you own.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, pairing, and architectural guidance.
  • Collaborate with product managers and domain experts to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of backend engineering experience in production environments.
  • Deep expertise in C#, .NET Core / .NET 8+, ASP.NET Web API, and microservices architecture.
  • Proven experience owning production microservices, including schema migrations, API versioning, backward compatibility, and long-lived maintenance.
  • Strong experience with distributed systems concepts such as event-driven architecture, message queues, sagas, idempotency, and eventual consistency.
  • Deep proficiency with MSSQL and/or PostgreSQL, including query design, schema design, indexing, and performance tuning.
  • Experience documenting architectural decisions using ADRs, system design, and trade-off analysis.
  • Hands-on DevOps experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure.
  • Experience designing secure, versioned REST APIs with OAuth 2.0, API key management, and rate limiting.
  • Some frontend exposure with Vue.js and/or TypeScript is preferred.
  • English fluency is required.
