Description

  • Reconstruct 3D power grid networks using point cloud (LiDAR) and map (GIS) data.
  • Place 3D objects such as poles, lines, and conductors to match real-world physical layouts.
  • Align original 2D map data with 3D models.
  • Label high-resolution drone photos to identify grid components.
  • Detect structural defects such as equipment damage or wear in annotated images.

Requirements

  • Background in GIS, Geodesy, Cartography, Land Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong spatial reasoning and the ability to navigate 3D environments easily.
  • English level B2, with the ability to read instructions, watch training videos, and communicate effectively.
  • High attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and willingness to learn from feedback.
  • PC or laptop with an Intel i7-11800H or equivalent/better CPU.
  • Dedicated GPU such as NVIDIA T1200 or better; RTX 4060 recommended.
  • At least 16 GB RAM; 32 GB preferred.
  • Basic understanding of power grids or prior experience with LiDAR data is a plus.
