Description

  • Own and operate production ETL/ELT pipelines, dimensional models, and Snowflake environments at scale.
  • Translate client loyalty program requirements into production-ready data warehouse structures and KALC platform tables.
  • Analyze source systems and design dimensional models that support reporting and downstream client services.
  • Diagnose and resolve data pipeline failures quickly to minimize impact and prevent recurrence.
  • Redesign the data mart to support an event-driven, domain-driven application layer without disrupting production operations.
  • Build reliable data infrastructure that supports AI-powered loyalty products and downstream machine learning use cases.
  • Implement automated testing, audit logging, CI/CD discipline, and documentation to improve platform reliability and maintainability.
  • Integrate and manage data from APIs, messaging systems, streaming platforms, and replication tools.
  • Collaborate with non-technical stakeholders and work independently across multiple Agile projects.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of data engineering experience designing and operating production-grade data pipelines.
  • 3+ years of hands-on Snowflake experience as a primary data warehousing solution.
  • Deep fluency with Snowflake features including data sharing, data clean rooms, marketplace, and Snowpark.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and JavaScript for transformation, automation, and pipeline development.
  • Demonstrated CI/CD experience using GitHub and GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with data replication tools such as Kafka, GoldenGate, HVR, or Qlik Replicate.
  • Deep understanding of Kimball dimensional modeling, including star schemas, slowly changing dimensions, snapshot fact tables, and transaction fact tables.
  • Experience with APIs, messaging systems, and streaming platforms as data sources.
  • Solid grounding in OLTP, Data Vault, and data warehouse architecture patterns.
  • Experience designing event-driven architectures and understanding domain-driven design concepts.
  • Cloud experience with Azure and/or AWS.
  • Comfort working independently across concurrent projects in an Agile environment and communicating with non-technical stakeholders.
  • Prior experience in a terabyte-scale, multi-client data warehouse environment, preferred.
  • Experience with Qlik Replicate, preferred.
  • Familiarity with Apache NiFi or similar data flow orchestration tools, preferred.
  • Exposure to AI workflow integration or pipelines that support machine learning use cases, preferred.
