Description

  • Lead key product and platform initiatives for Klaviyo’s New Products team.
  • Develop end-to-end solutions using both front-end and back-end technologies.
  • Optimize existing products and build new solutions for customers.
  • Tackle complex technical challenges and evaluate business and technical trade-offs.
  • Drive technology decisions and act as a leader and mentor to teammates.
  • Deploy well-designed, thoroughly tested solutions with strong reliability and performance.
  • Collaborate across disciplines in a fast-moving, flat team structure to deliver impactful work.
  • Take radical ownership of outcomes and help shape the future of the company through experimentation and execution.
  • Transform workflows by putting AI at the center of how the team works.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in a software engineering role.
  • Strong experience developing end-to-end software solutions or extensive experience with both front-end and back-end technologies.
  • Proven track record of building high-quality products and systems with clean, high-quality code.
  • Experience leading projects and being accountable for outcomes.
  • Experience mentoring team members or driving team learning initiatives.
  • Experience conducting code reviews and running a robust testing cycle.
  • Experience working in agile, fast-paced environments.
  • Prior experimentation with AI in work or personal projects and enthusiasm to learn responsibly.
  • Skills with Python and related technologies (nice to have).
  • Skills with React and related technologies (nice to have).
  • Experience developing digital marketing or customer data software solutions (nice to have).
  • Experience with machine learning (nice to have).
  • Experience building cloud-native solutions, ideally with AWS (nice to have).

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $148,000 to $222,000 USD.
  • Eligibility for the company’s annual cash bonus plan.
  • Potential equity and sign-on payments as part of total compensation.
