Description

  • Own the day-to-day management and strategic advancement of KIND’s IT operations across a multi-site international organization.
  • Lead complex technology initiatives from planning through implementation using structured project management practices.
  • Manage cybersecurity operations, annual security trainings, and serve as the primary internal lead for security incidents.
  • Oversee technology compliance and governance functions using Microsoft Purview in partnership with internal stakeholders.
  • Partner with the Director of IT Operations to design and implement technology solutions that improve organizational effectiveness and client services.
  • Collaborate with Office Operations to align technology decisions with operational needs and organizational goals.
  • Oversee endpoint and device management across computers, mobile devices, networking, and conferencing equipment.
  • Identify, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments.
  • Lead and mentor associate-level employees.
  • Develop documentation, operational standards, and procedures to improve consistency and resilience across the IT environment.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience across multiple IT domains.
  • Proven ability to lead and execute complex technical initiatives from planning through implementation.
  • Experience overseeing or coordinating cybersecurity and compliance activities, including incident response with internal teams and third-party vendors.
  • Strong working knowledge of endpoint management, cloud infrastructure (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), and enterprise productivity environments.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Purview, and the Azure ecosystem, including security and compliance capabilities.
  • Experience supporting technology operations in a mid-sized, multi-site, or international organization with 400+ employees.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills across technical and operational teams.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and travel periodically as needed.
  • Relevant certifications in project management, cloud infrastructure, or security preferred.
  • Experience in nonprofit, mission-driven, or service-oriented organizations preferred.
  • Experience supporting legal aid organizations or law firms across diverse technology platforms preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-oriented, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working and communicating in a remote environment preferred but not required.

  • Annual salary range of $83,744 to $104,681.
