Description

  • Lead the preparation, drafting, and review of quarterly and annual SEC filings, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, and 8-K.
  • Prepare and update financial statements, footnotes, MD&A sections, and disclosure checklists.
  • Support the development of quarterly earnings release materials and non-GAAP reconciliations.
  • Perform or review XBRL tagging and filing validations.
  • Manage the SEC reporting calendar and disclosure committee workflow.
  • Coordinate with Legal, FP&A, HR, Tax, Treasury, and external auditors on reporting matters.
  • Research complex accounting issues and prepare technical accounting memos.
  • Provide guidance on ASC 606, ASC 842, share-based compensation, FX, capitalized software, and other accounting areas.
  • Evaluate new accounting standards and support accounting policy development.
  • Ensure SEC reporting processes comply with SOX 404 expectations and support audits with schedules and reconciliations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA is strongly preferred.
  • 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Strong experience with SEC reporting, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, and 8-K.
  • Hands-on disclosure drafting experience.
  • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC rules, internal controls, and SOX.
  • Experience with ERP software, with Sage Intacct preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and operate independently.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical, structured problem-solving ability.
  • High ownership mindset and collaborative influence across teams.
  • Experience with Form S-1 filings and IPO readiness is strongly preferred.
  • Multi-entity consolidation or regulated industry experience is preferred.
  • Public accounting or public company background is preferred.
  • Exposure to SOX and process documentation is preferred.
  • Experience guiding others without direct reports is preferred.
