Description

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the FP&A team, including feedback, performance management, and career development.
  • Define the FP&A vision, operating model, and cross-functional partnership approach across Strategy, Accounting, Treasury, and business leaders.
  • Own the end-to-end financial planning calendar, including the annual operating plan, long-range plan, quarterly reforecasts, and monthly outlooks.
  • Design and implement scalable FP&A processes that mirror public-company discipline and reporting cadence.
  • Lead the evaluation, selection, implementation, and governance of planning and reporting tools such as Anaplan.
  • Evaluate and help integrate AI tools to improve variance analysis, commentary generation, and reporting.
  • Standardize KPIs, dashboards, and reporting packages across the business.
  • Build and refine forecasting methodologies, including driver-based, cohort, portfolio/credit, and revenue models.
  • Develop executive-ready reporting for senior leadership and the Board, including monthly and quarterly business reviews.
  • Lead scenario analysis and sensitivity modeling to support strategic decisions, growth investments, pricing, risk appetite, capital allocation, and funding strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced finance certification such as CFA or FPAC preferred.
  • 8–10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, and/or management consulting, with substantial experience in financial services.
  • Experience building, scaling, or transforming FP&A capabilities at a high-growth and/or public company.
  • Ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting processes.
  • Exposure to public-company-style controls, calendar discipline, and Board/executive reporting.
  • Experience implementing and/or administering modern planning tools, preferably Anaplan, including model design and integration with ERP/GL and data platforms.
  • Demonstrated use of AI and machine learning tools to improve forecasting, anomaly detection, scenario modeling, and automation of analytical work.
  • Expert-level financial modeling and analytical skills, including revenue, expense, cohort, portfolio/credit, and cash flow models.
  • Strong communication and executive presence, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and simplify complex concepts for non-finance audiences.
  • Strong leadership experience building, developing, and retaining high-performing FP&A teams.
