Description

  • Build and configure websites, including site building and configuration work.
  • Develop custom front-end and theme-layer solutions for Drupal sites.
  • Create and maintain custom Drupal modules and existing custom code.
  • Write custom WordPress plugins and themes.
  • Document code and processes to support team handoff and maintainability.
  • Participate in peer code reviews to uphold quality standards.
  • Join client meetings and workshops to gather requirements and collaborate on delivery.
  • Contribute to process and product improvements across the team.
  • Work hands-on while staying accountable to schedules, estimates, and project requirements.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of related Drupal or WordPress experience.
  • Must live in and be able to work in the United States or Canada.
  • This is a 100% remote contract position.
  • Experience working in support and willingness to do support work.
  • Agency experience, preferably working across multiple time zones.
  • Strong problem-solving ability, initiative, and intelligence.
  • Experience with modern development workflows, including command line, gitflow, containers, and dev/stage/prod environments.
  • Experience with pattern libraries or similar tools such as Storybook.
  • Strong understanding of modern web standards and technologies.
  • Thoughtful, inclusive, and articulate communication skills in writing and in person.
  • BS or MS in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
  • React.js experience is a plus.
