Description

  • Execute Shopify front-end development using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Implement A/B tests, small changes, and troubleshooting fixes to improve conversion rates.
  • Contribute to improvements in average order value and overall site performance through UX enhancements.
  • Build custom landing pages and features that support marketing and product initiatives.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and suggest better ways of doing things.
  • Work independently on tasks while staying aligned with the team’s strategy.
  • Collaborate with the team during 3–4 hours of overlap with U.S. Mountain Time.
  • Take ownership of tasks and deliver work on time without heavy hand-holding.

Requirements

  • Proven experience with Shopify theme development and Liquid templates.
  • Solid HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills with a focus on front-end performance.
  • Experience implementing features, fixing bugs, and improving user experience.
  • Comfortable working in an environment with A/B testing and fast iterations.
  • Strong attention to detail and understanding of how changes impact conversion.
  • Experience working on Shopify Online Store 2.0 themes (preferred).
  • Experience with A/B testing tools like Shoplift or similar platforms (preferred).
  • Exposure to conversion rate optimisation or performance-focused environments (preferred).
  • Experience building custom landing pages from scratch (preferred).
  • Ability to provide at least 3–4 hours of overlap with U.S. Mountain Time preferred.

Benefits

  • $5,000 to $6,000 per month gross compensation.
  • Part-time contract role, approximately 15 to 25 hours per week.
  • Fully remote work from anywhere.
