Description

  • Develop detailed technical security designs and customized solutions from concept through issue-for-construction documentation and drawings.
  • Apply expertise in networking, security management, access control, perimeter and intrusion detection, intercommunication, surveillance, and related calculations for storage, bandwidth, and power/heat requirements.
  • Design and recommend physical site hardening measures, including barriers, landscaping, street furniture, and other environmental security treatments.
  • Apply defense-in-depth and CPTED principles to security planning and design.
  • Interpret and apply project-specific security standards and demonstrate compliance to stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver client presentations that clearly explain security goals, objectives, proposed systems, and supporting standards.
  • Create technical drawings and coordinate production in AutoCAD and BIM to LOD 300 with drafting teams.
  • Manage project deliverables, meetings, presentations, program elements, and financials.
  • Write detailed proposals covering scope of work, timelines, budgets, and expected outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other project disciplines to ensure security solutions are integrated properly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as security studies or security management, or industry-recognized certifications such as CPP, CSC, or PSP.
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in security design and proposal writing.
  • Demonstrable experience with physical layouts and plans, equipment room design, landscaping, and environmental design for security.
  • Experience on projects in hospitality, high-rise buildings, malls, community buildings, transportation, airports, rail, or metro environments is highly valued.
  • Knowledge of UAE security standards through SIRA and Saudi Arabia security standards through MOI is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to present confidently to project teams and clients.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce clear technical documents, specifications, and proposals.
  • Experience managing complex calculations, including bandwidth calculations.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on time and on budget.
  • Willingness to travel as required across the Middle East.
