Description

  • Develop modern frontend applications using TypeScript and React.
  • Design and implement backend services in Python and Go.
  • Build clean, well-tested APIs that support complex engineering workflows.
  • Contribute to system architecture with attention to scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Work directly with product managers, designers, and occasionally customers to understand workflows and needs.
  • Translate ambiguous user requirements into practical technical solutions.
  • Iterate quickly, validate assumptions, and refine features based on feedback.
  • Build internal and customer-facing developer tools, SDKs, and workflow automation systems.
  • Integrate AI capabilities such as LLMs, retrieval systems, and copilots into product experiences.
  • Improve CI/CD, local development environments, and broader engineering productivity.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks such as React.
  • Experience building backend systems in Python, Go, or similar languages.
  • Demonstrated ability to ship full-stack features end to end.
  • Product-minded approach with a focus on understanding the why behind the work.
  • Comfort working in ambiguity and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Must be a US citizen living within the United States.
  • Experience building developer tools or technical user-facing products is preferred.
  • Experience integrating AI into software products, including LLMs, embeddings, or AI-assisted workflows, is preferred.
  • Background in aerospace, defense, digital engineering, or other regulated domains is preferred.
  • Experience with secure or air-gapped environments is preferred.
