Description

  • Lead large-scale machine learning projects and products from inception through production.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of ML systems, including design, implementation, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Make architectural decisions that balance scalability, efficiency, maintainability, and business constraints.
  • Collaborate across ML and engineering teams to drive product success and technical decisions.
  • Design and implement machine learning pipelines and models that serve millions of users.
  • Set technical standards for scalable, testable, and high-performance applications.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to other machine learning engineers.
  • Contribute to technical strategy and guide the direction of ML systems at scale.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience building and maintaining large-scale production ML systems.
  • Proven experience owning or significantly contributing to products used by tens of thousands of customers.
  • Expertise in machine learning algorithms, productionizing ML models, and scaling systems to large data volumes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with creative approaches to technical challenges.
  • Experience leading technical discussions, driving decisions, and setting technical standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, containerization, microservice design, and distributed systems.
  • Ability to identify, define, and segment complex research problems and develop innovative solutions.
  • Experience with performance, scalability, and reliability-focused ML engineering work.
  • Pre-employment screening is required, including work history, education, and identity verification, plus an in-person interview and identity verification in the country of residence.
