Description

  • Take ownership of an existing VB.NET and WPF desktop application.
  • Investigate, reproduce, and fix reported application issues such as database connectivity, project save/load, and grid rendering problems.
  • Develop and deliver new features requested by the engineering team.
  • Maintain and improve the AutoCAD plugin integration and help prepare for EPLAN integration.
  • Participate in release planning and quarterly delivery cycles.
  • Ensure application stability and performance within a legacy architecture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in English.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with VB.NET in production development.
  • Solid expertise in WPF, including layouts, data bindings, and custom controls.
  • Deep practical knowledge of the MVVM pattern.
  • Experience with DevExpress WPF controls such as grids and editors.
  • Good understanding of .NET Framework 4.x limitations and specifics.
  • Experience working with TFS and check-in/check-out workflows.
  • Experience with Excel Interop for data import and export.
  • Ability to independently navigate and work within a legacy codebase.
  • English level of B1 or higher.
  • Experience with AutoCAD or EPLAN integrations is preferred.
  • Experience modernizing or migrating legacy desktop applications is preferred.
