Description

  • Migrate the existing Python/Django application into the core product’s PHP codebase and support the PHP version post-migration.
  • Design and build scalable backend systems using PHP and MySQL or SingleStore.
  • Develop dynamic, responsive user interfaces using TypeScript, React, and Tailwind.
  • Collaborate with founders, R&D, and global cross-functional teams working across different technology stacks.
  • Translate high-level product vision and early ideas into production-ready features, services, and tools.
  • Investigate and incorporate emerging cybersecurity trends into product features and roadmaps.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code and participate in code reviews.
  • Participate in architectural discussions and help shape system design and technical direction.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Proven ability to work with minimal direction in ambiguous or R&D-heavy environments.
  • Strong backend development experience with PHP.
  • Solid front-end development experience with TypeScript and React (React 19).
  • Experience with Python (basic level required).
  • Experience with relational databases, especially MySQL.
  • Experience with Docker and containerization.
  • Experience working in cloud environments, ideally AWS.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Creative thinker who enjoys solving hard problems and experimenting with novel solutions.
  • (Preferred) Experience working on multiple projects concurrently.
  • (Preferred) Experience with big data/analytical systems such as BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake, Databricks, or SingleStore.
  • (Preferred) Experience with vulnerability scanning technologies (SCA, SAST, DAST, IAST, VM scanning, container scanning, etc.).
  • (Preferred) Experience maintaining applications on Linux platforms in cloud environments.
  • (Preferred) Demonstrated interest or background in cybersecurity, especially vulnerability management or threat intelligence.
