Description

  • Concept, design, and execute high-quality motion across 2D, 3D, and interactive contexts.
  • Translate creative strategies into storyboards, style frames, motion studies, prototypes, and final work.
  • Use motion to improve storytelling, brand expression, usability, and emotional impact.
  • Bring identities, campaigns, interfaces, and digital experiences to life across screens and formats.
  • Develop motion principles, systems, and reusable patterns for consistent execution at scale.
  • Collaborate with designers, writers, strategists, developers, and producers throughout delivery.
  • Present motion concepts and creative rationale to internal teams and clients.
  • Own the quality, consistency, timelines, and technical execution of motion deliverables.
  • At Lead level, define motion direction, guide team execution, and mentor other designers.
  • Explore emerging tools and technologies, including AI, with responsible creative judgment.

Requirements

  • Portfolio demonstrating exceptional motion craft, visual storytelling, and a distinctive point of view.
  • Significant experience leading complex motion projects from concept through final execution.
  • Advanced proficiency with motion, animation, and interactive design tools.
  • Strong knowledge of typography, composition, pacing, transitions, and visual design principles.
  • Experience across motion applications such as brand systems, campaigns, content, interfaces, films, or digital experiences.
  • Ability to work autonomously, make thoughtful creative decisions, and maintain high craft standards.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to advocate for motion-led ideas.
  • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary creative and technical teams.
  • For Lead-level consideration, experience defining motion direction, overseeing multiple deliverables, and guiding creatives.
  • Curiosity about emerging technologies, workflows, and visual approaches.

Benefits

  • Contract pay range of $60–$105 per hour, based on location, experience, and skillset.
  • Regional cost-of-living pay adjustments across three U.S. ranges: US1 +15%, US2 +7.5%, and US3 base.
  • Benefits may be available under applicable law and company policy, depending on hours worked and assignment duration.
