Description

  • Own the global media budget and optimize allocation and ROI across media channels.
  • Lead full-funnel media strategy and channel execution across traditional and digital platforms.
  • Align media strategy with B2C and B2B business objectives and long-range planning.
  • Define the in-house media agency strategy for the retail media network business.
  • Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing in-house media team.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment and operational rigor across marketing, product, finance, and data teams.
  • Use marketing science, audience insights, and media mix modeling to inform targeting and spend decisions.
  • Partner with Finance, Data Science, Analytics, and MarTech to improve measurement, targeting, and media effectiveness.
  • Advance a resourcing model that combines AI, in-house talent, and external support.
  • Lead embedded agency teams and internal marketers with clarity and urgency.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of leadership experience in full-funnel consumer media strategy and execution with large budgets across the US and Canada.
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders.
  • Deep fluency in performance measurement, including MMM, attribution models, A/B testing, and forecasting.
  • Demonstrated experience working with data science, analytics, product, and MarTech teams.
  • Experience leading embedded agency teams and internal marketers.
  • Experience leveraging AI and willingness to learn and experiment with AI-driven and agent-based systems.
  • Expertise in media strategy across creative alignment, campaign planning, channel orchestration, and experimentation.
  • Strong track record of bold strategic initiatives and continuous improvement through rigorous experimentation.
  • Bias for action, operational rigor, and the ability to execute consistently.
  • Preferred experience in retail, consumer tech, and/or marketplace businesses.
  • Preferred experience with Retail Media Networks and/or B2B2C media buying.

  • Remote Flex First work arrangement.
  • Highly market-competitive compensation and benefits.
  • Base pay range of $214,000 to $226,000 CAD for Canadian candidates.
  • Eligible for a new hire equity grant.
  • Eligible for annual refresh grants.
  • Hiring currently open in Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, and Nova Scotia.
