Description

  • Guide emotionally sensitive conversations about in-home euthanasia, hospice and palliative care, quality-of-life concerns, and behavioral emergencies.
  • Deliver empathetic customer service to pet families as the first point of contact.
  • Handle a high volume of inbound calls in a remote work-from-home environment.
  • Accurately collect and document pet, family, and medical information.
  • Schedule appointments efficiently using the company’s scheduling platforms.
  • Meet productivity, quality, and performance expectations while maintaining service standards.
  • Work reliably and punctually while following assigned schedules, break times, and shift coverage.
  • Collaborate with veterinarians and leadership to ensure seamless family support.
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support service excellence.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in high-volume call centers or customer service roles is required.
  • Experience in funeral assistant, medical, veterinary technician, or hospice environments is strongly preferred.
  • Reliable wired Ethernet internet connection is required; satellite internet and 4G/5G hotspots are not supported.
  • Must complete a mandatory 2-week training program at the start of employment.
  • Ability to quickly learn and navigate Google Workspace, scheduling and phone systems, Zoom, and internal communication tools.
  • Comfort working independently with minimal peer interaction.
  • Strong attention to detail, adaptability, reliability, and sound judgment.
  • Ability to work evening hours from 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM HST, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods, use a computer and keyboard continuously, and lift up to 15 pounds as needed.
