Description

  • Respond to support tickets and inbound requests from AI trainers across email, chat, and internal platforms.
  • Guide new trainers through onboarding by answering questions, troubleshooting setup issues, and helping them start their first tasks.
  • Handle questions about payments, scheduling, task assignments, platform navigation, and company policies.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate complex problems to engineering, operations, or product teams as needed.
  • Create and maintain help documentation, FAQs, and onboarding materials based on common questions and issues.
  • Track support metrics, identify recurring patterns, and propose improvements to the trainer experience.
  • Work closely with operations and product teams to communicate trainer feedback and help improve systems and workflows.
  • Maintain a fixed schedule (which may include night or weekend shifts) to support trainers across time zones.
  • Help build and sustain a welcoming, supportive community for HumanSignal’s global network of AI trainers.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in customer support, onboarding, or community management roles.
  • Excellent written communication skills — clear, friendly, and empathetic.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
  • Comfort with technology and the ability to learn new tools quickly.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work a fixed schedule, including possible night or weekend shifts, and to manage your own workload independently.
  • Patience and professionalism when handling challenging situations.
  • Experience supporting remote or distributed workforces (nice to have).
  • Familiarity with support ticketing systems such as Zendesk or Intercom (nice to have).
  • Background in data annotation, AI/ML, or tech platforms and/or multilingual capabilities (especially Spanish or Portuguese) are a plus.

Benefits

  • Base salary range $60,000–$80,000 USD plus benefits.
