Description

  • Investigate non-injury first-party physical damage claims by verifying coverage, liability, and damage scope.
  • Evaluate claims and determine settlement values in accordance with company standards and state regulations.
  • Handle low-complexity claims, documentation, estimates, rental eligibility, payments, and correspondence.
  • Monitor and confirm total-loss invoicing when applicable.
  • Serve as the primary customer contact and provide proactive, transparent communication throughout the claims process.
  • Use claims systems and telephony tools to manage claims in a fast-paced environment.
  • Identify referrals to Special Investigations, Total Loss, or other business areas when appropriate.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to ensure timely and accurate claim resolution.
  • Maintain compliance with company best practices and applicable state regulations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • No prior claims experience required; training is provided.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service, active listening, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required state adjuster licenses within the required timeframe.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Previous customer service, insurance, automotive, banking, hospitality, or call center experience preferred.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment preferred.
  • Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Periodic travel may be required.
