Description

  • Conduct deep market research across fleet, rental, OEM, and logistics industries to identify shared problems and opportunities in roadside assistance and vehicle movement.
  • Build and maintain a multi-quarter product roadmap by synthesizing external market insights with internal stakeholder needs, timelines, and sales cycles.
  • Own end-to-end feature delivery from requirements through launch, partnering with Engineering, Network Operations, and Data teams to ship scalable software.
  • Serve as HONK's subject matter expert for fleet, rental, OEM, and logistics industries and educate internal teams on market dynamics and business cases.
  • Test multiple product hypotheses concurrently, prioritize validated customer needs, and move quickly between opportunities.
  • Represent product at industry events and customer meetings to build relationships that inform strategic direction and sales enablement.
  • Partner with sales and enterprise clients to identify common operational mechanics that power dispatch and service delivery across verticals.

Requirements

  • 6-10 years building B2B software for fleet, rental, OEM, logistics, or adjacent transportation industries.
  • Experience interfacing directly with enterprise customers and translating their operational needs into software solutions.
  • Proven track record of shipping products that solve real business problems, not just features.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining strategic focus and momentum.
  • Exceptional written communication skills to distill complex market insights and technical requirements into clear, actionable plans.
  • Willingness and enthusiasm to engage directly with customers and attend industry events to become a domain expert.
  • Experience owning product roadmaps and coordinating timelines across sales cycles and internal stakeholders.
  • Comfort partnering cross-functionally with Engineering, Network Operations, and Data teams to deliver production software.

Benefits

  • $135,000 - $160,000 annual base salary range (varies by location, experience, and other factors).
  • Potential for commission and other forms of compensation as part of a total compensation package depending on position.
  • Full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (dependent on position offered).
  • Remote-first work model with the ability to work from anywhere in the U.S. and flexible collaboration.
  • Commitment to an inclusive, diverse workplace and equal opportunity employment practices.
