Description

  • Own the target front-end architecture and lead multi-quarter migrations without halting feature delivery.
  • Design failure isolation, fallbacks, timeouts, and observability for federated applications.
  • Define deployment, versioning, contract testing, staged rollout, and rollback strategies for independent releases.
  • Improve load and runtime performance through code splitting, caching, virtualization, long-task analysis, and memory-leak diagnosis.
  • Define and monitor Core Web Vitals, INP, route transition times, and CI performance budgets.
  • Set quality standards for WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility, internationalization, and cross-browser support.
  • Lead the application shell, including bootstrapping, routing, authentication-aware navigation, and application boundaries.
  • Own module federation topology, shared dependencies, singleton management, and version-skew solutions.
  • Guide the shared component library and design system with maintainable, version-safe APIs.
  • Write technical proposals, review high-impact designs and code, build cross-team consensus, and mentor engineers.

Requirements

  • 9+ years of front-end development experience.
  • Expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS, with deep knowledge of browser rendering, layout, event loops, networking, caching, and memory.
  • Deep production experience with a modern component framework, primarily Vue 3 and the Composition API; React, Angular, or Svelte experience is also considered.
  • Demonstrated ownership of front-end architecture migrations across real codebases without freezing feature development.
  • Production experience with micro-frontends or module federation, including related failure modes; equivalent monolith-decomposition experience is considered.
  • Proven experience optimizing large-scale, complex web applications with measurable results.
  • Experience with build tooling such as Vite, Webpack, Rspack, Turborepo, or Nx, including debugging build failures.
  • Working knowledge of accessibility engineering, including semantics, keyboard and focus behavior, ARIA, and screen-reader testing.
  • Strong written communication for remote, asynchronous collaboration through design documents, RFCs, and pull requests.
  • Track record of mentoring engineers and driving change across teams without direct management authority.
  • Familiarity with Node.js, server-side rendering, and open-source contributions is preferred.
