Description

  • Conduct high-quality research and synthesis on external market, competitive, and macro signals for Revenue Operations leadership.
  • Analyze public company filings, investor presentations, and equity research to extract and normalize relevant performance benchmarks.
  • Evaluate the quality, assumptions, and limitations of third-party data and clearly communicate confidence levels.
  • Compare external peer data with internal KPIs to distinguish company execution effects from broader market or category effects.
  • Analyze competitor messaging in earnings calls, conferences, interviews, and other public forums to infer strategic intent.
  • Identify recurring structural patterns across SaaS categories, including pricing power, distribution shifts, and M&A activity.
  • Monitor macroeconomic, regulatory, funding, and capital-flow trends affecting the SMB SaaS landscape.
  • Produce concise, structured executive briefs and narratives that shape senior leadership’s understanding of market changes and implications.
  • Surface early-warning signals and translate external developments into strategic implications rather than news summaries.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in market research, management consulting, equity research, or strategic competitive intelligence.
  • Meaningful exposure to B2B SaaS, technology platforms, or SMB-focused businesses.
  • Experience digesting large volumes of external information and distilling it into executive-ready outputs.
  • Strong quantitative intuition and comfort working with metrics, benchmarks, and financial disclosures.
  • Ability to spot inconsistencies, question assumptions, and assess the real-world plausibility of numbers.
  • Ability to take ambiguous questions and impose structure without over-reliance on predefined templates.
  • Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to translate complex context into high-signal narratives.
  • Experience with public company filings, analyst research, market reports, and news analysis is preferred.
  • Ability to work fully remote from India and align with the 2PM–11PM IST shift.
  • Interest in or familiarity with B2B SaaS market dynamics and competitive intelligence is preferred.
