Description

  • Support inbound supply chain operations and manage external partnerships to ensure ingredients arrive to customers on time and in full.
  • Calculate, issue, revise and send purchase orders for assigned category areas using in-house tools and Google Suite.
  • Perform audit checks to ensure purchase orders are complete and accurate before sending to suppliers.
  • Resolve supplier queries related to purchase orders or transportation and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Investigate operational issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Create, establish and maintain reports that support daily operations and distribute forecast information to suppliers.
  • Partner closely with internal teams (Forecasting, Procurement, Warehouse, Inventory) to ensure purchase orders are timely and meet customer requirements.
  • Correct or escalate data inaccuracies to your Line Manager and report tooling issues with recommendations for improvements.
  • Support additional day-to-day tasks as needed, including data entry, emergency purchase orders, delivery schedule updates and inventory data analysis, and remain flexible to changing duties.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of previous purchasing experience as a Buyer.
  • Expertise operating Microsoft Office programs and experience with Google Suite and in‑house tools.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (preferred).
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus (German, Dutch, French, Spanish, Italian).
  • Proven experience generating and managing purchase orders and performing audit checks for accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with suppliers and cross‑functional internal teams (Forecasting, Procurement, Warehouse, Inventory).
  • Attention to detail and experience performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
