Description

  • Develop and manage project work plans, timelines, and task schedules for audit and performance-measure validation projects.
  • Lead targeted projects and serve as lead auditor on performance-measure validation audits (non-HEDIS and HEDIS-related activities as assigned).
  • Guide, coordinate, and oversee Auditor I staff and other project team members to maintain project files and complete assigned tasks.
  • Manage client communication and contracts for assigned projects, including leading client teleconferences, meetings, and interactions with partners, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Prepare, compile, and submit project deliverables using appropriate mechanisms (electronic, hard copy, direct data entry) and provide regular progress reports to DSAA management.
  • Maintain, tag, sort, and store project documents on SharePoint and HSAG networks following governance rules and ensure accuracy and timely completion of reports and documents.
  • Conduct online research and literature searches on clinical and healthcare topics; develop written and data-oriented reports and contribute substantially to major reports.
  • Perform internal quality control monitoring, identify process improvement opportunities, present issues and recommended solutions, and take corrective actions as indicated.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, science, or a healthcare-related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of five years of work experience, including at least three years in healthcare.
  • At least two years of auditing experience and a minimum of one year serving as a lead auditor.
  • At least one year of HEDIS auditing and/or data validation experience.
  • Knowledge of performance measures and experience writing client reports.
  • Contract management and/or project management experience.
  • Proficient English communication skills including public speaking, grammar, proofreading, and editing.
  • Proficient interpersonal skills and ability to handle multiple projects and work with multiple teams simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and conducting internet-based research.
