Description

  • Execute territory sales strategies to source leads, manage the full sales pipeline, and close deals to meet high-growth targets.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships and perform post-sale account management to maximise customer value and retention.
  • Manage end-to-end customer onboarding and deployment, ensuring a smooth handoff from sales to implementation and helping customers realise product value.
  • Prospect new opportunities via proactive outreach, referrals, industry events, and inbound enquiries to expand market penetration in the beef sector.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Support, R&D, regional sales) to share field insights and inform product improvements.
  • Own territory management responsibilities including prioritising daily activities, balancing expansion with customer success, and working with regional agricultural groups.
  • Demonstrate and negotiate product value through product demonstrations and contract negotiations.
  • Coordinate with Support to resolve customer issues promptly and escalate where necessary to maintain satisfaction.
  • Travel frequently within the territory to engage with customers, attend events, and perform on-the-ground account activities.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated value-based sales experience with a track record of creating opportunities, closing deals, and growing partnerships through upselling.
  • Experience with or strong passion for the beef industry and willingness to rapidly learn farm operations and on-farm workflows.
  • Proven customer success or post-sales experience focused on driving ongoing customer value and retention.
  • Ability to manage a large territory using critical thinking to prioritise activities and make balanced trade-offs between sales and support.
  • Resourceful problem-solver who collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams to address customer challenges and drive solutions.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently within the Riverina territory.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Based in or willing to be located anywhere in the Riverina region of New South Wales (ideally Wagga Wagga).
  • Ability to demonstrate evidence of the above requirements in resume, cover letter, and interviews.
