Description

  • Execute value-based sales strategies and manage the full sales pipeline from lead generation through to close.
  • Prospect and expand the customer base through proactive outreach, referrals, industry events, and handling inbound enquiries.
  • Meet high-growth sales targets by screening, qualifying, demonstrating the product, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
  • Manage post-sale customer account relationships to ensure ongoing satisfaction, upsell opportunities, and long-term value delivery.
  • Own end-to-end customer onboarding and deployment to ensure a smooth transition from sales to implementation and successful product adoption.
  • Act as the primary regional representative, building deep relationships with regional agricultural groups and beef industry stakeholders.
  • Collect field learnings and customer feedback and share insights with Product, Support, and R&D to inform product improvements.
  • Collaborate with Support and cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues, escalate when necessary, and ensure customers feel fully supported.
  • Regularly travel within the territory to engage with customers, prospects, and industry events.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in value-based sales with a strong history of creating opportunities, closing deals, and upselling.
  • Experience or strong passion for the beef industry and willingness to rapidly learn farm operations and industry-specific challenges.
  • Experience in post-sales value building and customer success/account management.
  • Ability to manage a large territory using critical thinking to balance sales growth and customer success priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Comfortable working autonomously as an on-the-ground representative and taking high ownership of territory outcomes.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently within the designated territory.
  • Based in the New England region of New South Wales (ideally Tamworth) or able to be located there, and able to demonstrate the above requirements in application materials and interviews.
