Description

  • Prospect for new leads and opportunities through proactive outreach, referrals, industry events, inbound queries, and other channels.
  • Manage the full sales pipeline from lead generation through qualification, product demonstrations, contract negotiation, and close.
  • Meet ambitious growth targets by managing territory activity and prioritizing high-value opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships before and after the sale to support long-term satisfaction and expansion.
  • Own the customer handoff from sales to onboarding and deployment to ensure a smooth implementation experience.
  • Serve as the primary field contact for gathering customer feedback and sharing insights with Product, Support, and R&D teams.
  • Work closely with Support to resolve customer issues quickly and escalate problems when needed.
  • Develop deep relationships across the beef industry and regional agricultural groups within the territory.
  • Act as Halter’s on-the-ground representative in Northern Victoria and manage territory trade-offs with a high level of ownership.

Requirements

  • Value-based sales experience with a strong history of creating opportunities, closing deals, and building lasting customer relationships.
  • Experience in post-sales value building and upselling to grow customer partnerships.
  • Beef industry experience, or strong passion to learn the operations and challenges of beef farms quickly.
  • Ability to manage a large territory with critical thinking and a balanced focus on sales and customer success.
  • Resourceful problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Comfort working under pressure, taking ownership of results, and bringing strong energy and passion to every interaction.
  • Frequent travel within Northern Victoria is required.
  • Based anywhere in Northern Victoria, ideally Bendigo, Mildura, Swan Hill, Shepparton, or Wodonga.
