Description

  • Prospect for new leads and opportunities through outreach, referrals, industry events, and inbound enquiries.
  • Manage the full sales pipeline from lead generation through to contract close.
  • Screen, qualify, demonstrate the product, and negotiate deals to meet growth targets.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships before and after the sale to support long-term success.
  • Own the customer onboarding and deployment experience to ensure a smooth transition from sales to implementation.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for customer feedback and field insights within the territory.
  • Partner with Support, Product, R&D, and regional sales teams to resolve issues and improve the product.
  • Manage and prioritise a large territory with a balanced focus on sales and customer success.
  • Work with regional agricultural groups to strengthen relationships across the beef industry.
  • Travel frequently within the territory to meet farmers and prospects daily.

Requirements

  • Must live within the Taranaki/Whanganui region.
  • Frequent travel within the territory is required.
  • Demonstrated high-performing value-based sales experience with a strong record of creating opportunities and closing deals.
  • Experience building lasting customer relationships and upselling to grow partnerships.
  • Beef industry experience or deep interest in learning farm operations rapidly.
  • Ability to manage a large territory using critical thinking and sound judgement.
  • Resourceful problem solver who works effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive, hands-on, high-energy attitude and ability to thrive under pressure while owning results.
