Description

  • Execute sales strategies to source leads, manage the full sales pipeline, and close deals to meet high-growth targets.
  • Prospect new customers through proactive outreach, referrals, industry events, and inbound inquiries.
  • Own territory performance and growth, developing deep relationships with regional agricultural groups and beef industry stakeholders.
  • Manage post-sale account relationships to ensure customer satisfaction, upsell opportunities, and long-term partnership growth.
  • Coordinate and assist with end-to-end customer onboarding and deployment to ensure a smooth transition from sale to implementation.
  • Gather field feedback and act as primary point of contact for customer insights, sharing learnings with Product, Support, and R&D teams.
  • Collaborate with Support and cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues quickly and escalate problems when necessary.
  • Travel frequently within the territory to engage customers, demonstrate product value, and support on-the-ground adoption.

Requirements

  • High-performing value-based salesperson with a proven history of creating opportunities, closing deals, and upselling to grow partnerships.
  • Experience in post-sales value building and account management.
  • Beef industry experience is preferred; alternatively, a strong passion for the industry and willingness to rapidly learn farm operations.
  • Proven territory management skills with critical thinking to balance sales and customer success across a large area.
  • Resourceful problem-solver who works well with cross-functional teams to address challenges and drive solutions.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
  • Ideally located anywhere in the Northland region and able to work full-time (remote role with significant field travel).
