Description

  • Lead daily IT operations across infrastructure, systems administration, networking, service desk, and software development.
  • Establish IT priorities, ownership, accountability, policies, procedures, documentation, and escalation processes.
  • Manage vendors, consultants, service providers, contracts, and technology relationships.
  • Oversee Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID/Active Directory, VMware, servers, storage, backups, data centers, and multi-office infrastructure.
  • Lead infrastructure modernization, cloud transitions, network operations, technology asset lifecycle management, and resilience initiatives.
  • Direct cybersecurity operations, including vulnerability management, patching, endpoint protection, access controls, monitoring, incident response, and remediation.
  • Ensure consistent IT support, service desk performance, endpoint management, software deployment, and device lifecycle processes for office and remote employees.
  • Develop the IT roadmap and lead technology projects involving modernization, automation, AI, RPA, integrations, and process improvement.
  • Manage, coach, and develop a multidisciplinary IT team while establishing clear roles, performance expectations, cross-training, and succession planning.
  • Partner with firm leadership and business stakeholders to translate operational needs into secure, scalable technology solutions.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressively responsible IT experience, including significant infrastructure and operations responsibilities.
  • 5+ years of IT management or leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID/Active Directory, Windows Server, VMware, networking, endpoint management, backup and disaster recovery, and cybersecurity.
  • Experience managing infrastructure in a multi-office organization.
  • Experience leading technical teams across multiple IT disciplines, including geographically distributed or remote teams preferred.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity controls, incident response, and risk management.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities while maintaining reliable operations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including communication with nontechnical leadership.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience preferred.
  • Experience in accounting or professional services, regulated or confidential environments, cloud migration, disaster recovery, AI, workflow automation, RPA, APIs, or relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, PMP, Microsoft, or VMware preferred.
