Description

  • Lead and direct complex cross-functional technology projects with clear scope, objectives, and technical dependencies.
  • Partner with the Technology team while maintaining alignment with Business Transformation standards and governance practices.
  • Establish and document roles and responsibilities for project team members across technology and business functions.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, including tasks, milestones, dependencies, timelines, and status updates.
  • Communicate project plans to stakeholders to build shared understanding and align technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Manage projects in Smartsheet and ensure consistent use of enterprise project management tools and templates.
  • Facilitate project meetings and create and publish project materials, including technology summaries for non-technical audiences.
  • Identify, track, and escalate project issues, risks, actions, blockers, scope changes, and schedule changes.
  • Manage project budgets, including vendor and licensing costs where applicable.
  • Develop and execute change management plans to support technology adoption across impacted teams and business units.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, a business-related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 6-10 years of business or technology experience.
  • Minimum 6 years of project management experience with a focus on technology projects.
  • Experience managing IT projects such as infrastructure or architecture updates, system implementations, Corporate IT changes, and technology or personnel integrations.
  • Experience working closely with or embedded within a Technology team as a primary stakeholder.
  • Experience in the financial services industry or technology industry preferred.
  • Experience working with or managing projects in Smartsheet preferred.
  • PMP and Agile certification a plus.
  • Proficiency in Atlassian Jira, Smartsheet, Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, cybersecurity, networking, and software development lifecycles.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts and project details for non-technical stakeholders and executive audiences.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate, influence, and gain consensus across all organizational levels.
  • In-depth knowledge of project management methodology, including waterfall, agile, and hybrid approaches.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience building effective relationships with technology teams, business functions, and third parties.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship or transfer.
  • Remote work is limited to candidates residing in approved states and the role is based in the Eastern or Central Time Zones.
