Description

  • Help users and agents connect to and query data in Grafana quickly and effectively.
  • Define and drive product design strategy for high-impact Data Sources initiatives.
  • Reduce friction, automate repetitive steps, and design agent-first experiences at scale.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product management, technical writing, and GTM teams.
  • Run and contribute to qualitative and quantitative research with researchers, customers, and the user community.
  • Translate research and data into clear, usable experiences that simplify complexity.
  • Develop deep expertise in the product area, user personas, use cases, and workflows.
  • Document user needs, pain points, design directions, UX tradeoffs, and detailed feature designs.
  • Coach and mentor other designers and contribute to team initiatives and evolving ways of working.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant design experience on B2B or enterprise software products.
  • Experience designing tools and services for developers or highly technical users, preferred.
  • Ability to synthesize business priorities, customer feedback, research insights, and technical constraints into scalable design solutions.
  • Experience collaborating across multiple locations and time zones in a cross-functional environment.
  • Experience running qualitative research in complex fields and building empathy with users.
  • Experience working in a fully remote, fast-paced environment with transparency and autonomy.
  • Strong proactive remote communication, collaboration, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to rapidly understand a technical domain and associated customer needs and workflows, preferred.
  • Domain knowledge or experience in observability, cloud infrastructure, or database monitoring/administration/optimization, preferred.
  • Candidates must be based in the UK.
