Description

  • Define and own AI features end-to-end in partnership with the senior AI PM, including roadmap, prioritization, and delivery.
  • Prototype, build, and ship AI features collaboratively with engineering and design teams.
  • Partner with product marketing and sales to shape AI messaging and support large commercial deals and GTM activities.
  • Work across R&D and GTM organizations to deliver AI products and align stakeholder goals.
  • Analyze product, usage, and commercial data at scale in partnership with the data function to inform decisions.
  • Research competitors, partners, and the broader AI market to inform strategy and opportunities.
  • Collect user needs, requirements, and pain points through customer empathy and translate them into product requirements.
  • Curate and represent user feedback to Engineering, providing evidence to support tradeoffs and prioritization.
  • Define go-to-market strategies including pricing, packaging, licensing, and tiering for AI features.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong product sense and demonstrated curiosity about AI (e.g., AI projects, blog posts, community contributions).
  • 2 years of product experience or equivalent experience in a related role with ownership of a feature or project.
  • Experience prototyping, building, and shipping product features end-to-end.
  • Comfortable with basic data analysis (SQL, spreadsheets) and able to interpret experiment results.
  • Familiarity with large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, or experience using open-source models.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with fully remote, globally distributed teams and communicate proactively.
  • Technical proficiency to represent products to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Bonus: experience using or building observability products or developer tools (e.g., SRE or external tooling experience).

Benefits

  • Base compensation range in Canada: $145,722 CAD - $174,866 CAD (actual varies by level and experience).
  • All roles include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) to provide ownership in Grafana Labs.
  • 100% remote-first work environment with global, distributed teams (candidates in Canada are being considered for this posting).
  • 30 days of annual leave per year, with 3 days reserved for company Grafana Shutdown Days (subject to local legislation).
