Description

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for a portfolio of Grafana customers.
  • Architect and guide the implementation of complex observability solutions across diverse infrastructure and application environments.
  • Design and drive customers' observability maturity journeys and collaborate on technical roadmaps.
  • Lead technical discovery, onboarding, enablement, and overall customer lifecycle in partnership with Engagement Managers and Onboarding Solutions Architects.
  • Provide expert-level troubleshooting, guidance, and root cause analysis to resolve customer issues and improve adoption and satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular technical reviews and health checks and prepare/present reports on client metrics, ROI, achievements, and areas of focus.
  • Advise clients on best practices and strategies for leveraging Grafana products to meet business goals.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize customer costs, expand product usage, and drive adoption of new products and features.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders (engineers, SREs, architects, etc.).
  • Create and deliver technical documentation, guides, tutorials, training sessions, and workshops for customers.

Requirements

  • Located in the Washington, DC area.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Math, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in a technical support, technical account management, consulting, solutions engineering, or professional services role within the technology industry.
  • Experience deploying and operating Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of observability solutions; experience with Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki is a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with remote teams and customers.
  • Experience with relevant tools and technologies such as CRM software, ticketing systems, and applicable programming languages.
  • Ability to travel to meet with clients as needed (up to 25%).
  • Preferred: 5+ years of post-sales technical experience (TAM/technical sales) ideally with open source or observability products; ability to connect product usage to ROI, manage customer lifecycle, and proactively assist with troubleshooting and RCA.

Benefits

  • UST OTE compensation range $182,000 - $217,000 (actual pay varies by level, experience, and location) plus Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) for all roles.
