Description

  • Perform accounting for Materials/Inventory, Fixed Assets, and related tax areas across the Capital business operations.
  • Execute month-end close activities and prepare and present financial information related to inventory and fixed assets.
  • Participate in system implementations and testing and help stand up new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Drive efficiency improvements in month-end close and reporting processes and identify systematic solutions for managing large volumes of assets.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures and maintain accurate, organized financial records.
  • Collaborate across Finance, Accounting, and business stakeholders to support new business initiatives and projects.
  • Support external audit activities by documenting processes, providing required data, and performing key controls (as needed).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in an operational accounting role focused on fixed assets and inventory.
  • 5 years of experience using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  • Experience writing BigQuery/SQL scripts and navigating datasets and pipelines.
  • Experience working with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Experience with system implementations, specifically SAP, Inventory Management Systems, and Project Systems (preferred).
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (preferred).
  • Public accounting experience (preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to improve processes, controls, and operations (preferred).
  • Experience assisting with external audits including documentation, data support, and performance of key controls (preferred).

Benefits

  • US base salary range $117,600 - $172,500 plus bonus, cash award, and benefits.
